Pet day rules

Pet day rules. I brought my tadpoles to school and everyone freaked out about there back legs. I walked bear ( Richie's dog) around the parade. Overall it was really fun!

Grip Leadership Conference

Last Thursday the 12 of November the year 6 and 7s went to a leadership course. It was really really fun and we got to play games to answer the questions that we got asked. It was so very loud and my heart was booming. Then it was suddenly all over. I felt sad to leave.

New class tadpoles

 

These are our Brown Australian Tree frog tadpoles

I bought them in to our class today and they are loving it.

We have 14 tadpoles in our tank there and 3 should at least have there back legs before the end of term.

They are really cool to watch and they will amaze you on what they can do.

They are really small with the smallest being 1.27 cm and the biggest being 4.78 cm.

They will have a good time in the amazing Kauri class.

The Mysterious House

The Mysterious House

Chapter 1

This house has cobwebs with gigantic spiders all over it. It is spooky. Thunder is shooting out of the sky coming very close to it. This looks like a horror movie scene. By this house is a spooky graveyard. Is it haunted or not? Suddenly I hear screams inside. A black figure comes out of the door dragging two dead bodies with blood all over them away.

Chapter 2

So I try to open the gate that stands in the way… It makes a loud creak eeerrr!!!

The black figure then drops the bodies and looks around. He couldn’t see anything so he continued on his way. I opened the gate slowly and then slipped in.

Chapter 3

The path is crooked and broken. The grass is overgrown. The garden is full of weeds. Plus they are mossy. I get creeped out by the sound of the house creaking in the darkness.

Chapter 4

As I get closer I see blood on the windows. I can smell rich red blood. In the air I can taste blood and dead bodies. The smell is so rank.

Chapter 5

I touch the door handle, it is so very cold on this hot night. Can I go in, or should I stay out? There is cobwebs all over the door. Spiders are crawling to my hand. I am creeped out so I let go of the door handle.

Friday Sport Recount

Friday sport
At 11.45 Friday the 8th the year 5s to 8s were getting ready to go to Friday  sport. This was the first friday sport for the year. I was very excited and nervous.  This year we are not going to hagley park, we are now going to hornby high school. It is a lot smaller than hagley park but a lot more soccer teams are there.

It is now 12.15 and kauri and Rimu are boarding the bus. There is lots of chatter as we all leave school. Tim and Jack talked about princess Tim. I was looking out the window. It seemed like I was going home. But right at that moment the bus took a right turn and it all went away. We arrived at Hornby High School at 12.32. Our games didn't start until 1.15 so we arrived a bit early... But so did the other schools. There was  about 15 other schools there with us.
Well I guess we were with them! I got my soccer boots on. It was rather hard because they were too small for me. Then all of our teams met their coach.
Our coach is Maia. He is very nice. We set off to our Soccer field.  It was very big, plus we had a good view of the road. At that moment our rivals arrived. They are the SHS Bulldogs. I saw a lot of my old friends. My old teacher saw me and said "oh wow I can't believe it" and gave me a big hug. That was the moment that Maia said let's get ready on the field. So we got ready. I am not going to tell you about the  because it is too long. But I am going to tell you we won 1-0. Our next game was against west melton. This time it was a draw. 2-2.
Our next game was against the SHS bulldogs again. We won 3-1. Our last and final game was against templeton. We one 2-1. We never lost a game.

After the final game we packed up and went back to school.
Then I went home and had a shower.

Tim and I are studying the Meglodon and insects for writing.
